Proposals to develop the digital education ecosystem were presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. As his press service reported, it was noted at the presentation that the target of 300,000 IT jobs planned for 2030 was already achieved in 2026.

Now, an additional 500,000 jobs are to be created by 2030 through new areas of the digital economy. According to the press service, this requires a unified digital education ecosystem covering the entire path from study and skills certification to employment. The presentation discussed approaches under which 5.5 million young people are planned to be trained in traditional and distance formats by 2030.

The head of state set the task of training 1 million young people annually in robotics, computer game development, startups, and other promising fields. Plans call for expanding the "Al-Khwarizmi Vorislari" and "Five Million Artificial Intelligence Leaders" projects for schoolchildren. Proposals to open training centers for iOS developers based on Fergana's experience and to train mentors for private educational centers were approved. Higher education institutions were invited to develop training in artificial intelligence, microchip design, unmanned technologies, and game development.

In 2025, $22 million in grants was attracted for digital education. The target volume is $60 million by the end of 2026 and $100 million by 2030. Half of this year's funds will go directly to digital education, while the other half will go toward professional development, as well as the opening and equipping of centers in remote regions for programming, robotics, and AI classes.

Plans for the "Digital Youth" platform were also reviewed. As envisioned, it will collect data on education, skills, language proficiency, and certificates of young people, while the platform itself will assist with job matching and track employment records.
