About Tezkun

Tezkun ("tez kun" — "a fast day") is a news site about Uzbekistan. Short stories: what happened, who reported it and what it means. Every story lists its sources.

Texts are prepared with the help of artificial intelligence; the editor reads every story before it is published. The Uzbek and English versions are translated from the Russian originals. Illustrations are generated and are not photographs of events.

Editorial team

The author of all stories is the Tezkun editorial team; there are no invented bylines. The editor-in-chief, Rafkat Gatin (Tashkent), is responsible for every published text and decides on corrections and removals.
