Apple releases iOS 27.2: Siri AI gets five new languages

Siri AI has learned to refer to past conversations: for example, you can ask about a restaurant that the assistant recommended several days ago. For answers, Siri now takes into account more data, including photos from correspondence, event participants in the calendar, voicemail, Safari history, and a reading list. French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish have been added, but Russian is not on the list. Siri AI works on iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 line, and newer models. In the EU and mainland China, Siri's AI functions are still unavailable.

Messages now offer actions based on the meaning of the conversation: create an event in the calendar or a reminder. The user chooses which prompts to display. According to Kod.ru, the function works in English. In group FaceTime calls, a Dual Capture mode has appeared, in which the image is transmitted simultaneously from the front and main cameras. Apple TV has separate profiles for family members, and Apple Music has changed its design: the active tab is highlighted in blue.

iPhone Duo has received support for Apple Pencil with a USB-C connector, other versions of the stylus, including Apple Pencil Pro, are not compatible. The updated Health app from beta versions did not make it to the release, Apple plans to release it later in 2026. Also, vulnerabilities related to Bluetooth, application access to data, and image processing have been fixed.
