Orders can be placed from October 28 in 36 countries and regions, including the US. The Wi-Fi model will cost at least $699, and the cellular version will cost $849. Storage options are available in 128, 256, and 512 GB, and the body comes in two colors: Midnight and Starlight. The company did not hold a separate presentation.

The screen diagonal has increased from 8.3 to 8.5 inches thanks to frames that have become 24% narrower; the refresh rate remains 60 Hz. The body thickness is 5.4 mm, and the weight is 255 g for the Wi-Fi version and 263 g for the cellular version. According to Apple, the new device is 13% lighter and 14% thinner than its predecessor.

The A20 Pro chip is produced using a 2-nm process. According to the company's tests, multi-threaded performance has increased by up to 60%, graphics performance by up to 2.7 times, and AI calculation speed by up to 4.5 times. The configurations differ: the 128 and 256 GB versions have a five-core CPU, the 512 GB version has a six-core CPU and two Neural Engine blocks. The graphics processor is seven-core in all models.

Both cameras have a resolution of 12 MP, and the front camera has been moved to the long side. The new Acoustic Display acoustics transmits low frequencies through the display. The N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread is responsible for wireless connectivity, and the C2 modem with 5G and only eSIM is installed in the cellular versions. The battery charges to 50% in approximately 30 minutes with a 35W adapter, which is sold separately. Siri with AI functions is currently working in beta version.
