Passengers could be offered free luggage storage with a ticket, at least one hour of free Wi-Fi, and the ability to hail official taxis via terminals. This is envisaged by a draft resolution released for public discussion.

The measures apply to international airports, as well as major railway stations and bus terminals. Under the draft, they are planned to be introduced in stages starting July 1, 2027. It is proposed to accept luggage from ticketed passengers for free storage for up to 24 hours prior to departure and after arrival.

To hail taxis at transport facilities, installing dedicated electronic terminals is proposed. Through them, a passenger can enter their destination, find out the ride fare in advance, and order an official taxi. A SIM card and mobile data will not be required, and after ordering, the terminal will print a receipt with a QR code.

The authors of the draft note that Wi-Fi at major transport hubs is currently not sufficiently high-quality and stable. There are no terminals for ordering official taxis with QR receipts, and no unified procedure exists for free luggage storage for ticket holders.

A passenger transportation development strategy through 2030 is also under public discussion. According to Podrobno.uz, it outlines three rail lines linking airports to railway stations: in Tashkent (from the new airport to Tashkent-Northern railway station), Bukhara, and Urgench. Starting July 2027, the document also envisages an integrated transport system in the Tashkent agglomeration. In addition, it mentions the Bir Yul platform for purchasing train, plane, and bus tickets.
