Xiaomi has released the rollout schedule for the global version of HyperOS 4: by the end of 2026, the update is set to reach 67 smartphones and 15 tablets under the Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco brands.

The firmware will be distributed in three waves. Starting in early November, it will begin rolling out to 33 devices, including the Xiaomi 17 series along with the Ultra model, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra, the Redmi Note 15 and Note 17 smartphones, the Poco F8 and X8, as well as the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro tablets. From mid-November, the turn will come for 16 models, including the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro, the Poco F7 and F9, the Xiaomi Pad 7, and the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. The December wave includes another 33 devices: the Xiaomi MIX Flip, various versions of the Xiaomi 13 and 14, including models with the T index, the Redmi Note 14 lineup, a number of Poco smartphones, and tablets such as the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.

The company cautions that the timeline is tentative and depends on the region, carrier, and model, while the update itself arrives over the air gradually. The download may turn out to be large: an owner of a Poco F8 Pro switching from stable HyperOS 3 will have to download more than 8 GB. Xiaomi has not yet disclosed plans for the period after December.

HyperOS 4 is built on Android 17, and its beta version appeared in August. In the new system, the interface has been redesigned, which Kod.ru compares to the Liquid Glass style from iOS, lock screen and home screen settings have been expanded, and floating windows have been refined. According to Xiaomi, after 24 hours of operation, applications open nearly 20% faster—built-in AI adapts the system to the user's habits.

What it means

The update covers Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco smartphones across various generations, dating back to the Xiaomi 13, as well as tablets. The first wave starts in early November, the second in mid-November, and the third in December 2026; the exact timing depends on the region, carrier, and model. For the Poco F8 Pro, the update package exceeds 8 GB when switching from HyperOS 3.
