Samsung presents flagship tablets Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and S12+

The company Samsung officially presented the tablet computers Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+, operating on the 3-nanometer chip MediaTek Dimensity 9500.

Both novelties are equipped with Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1600 cd/m². The screen of the older model Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has a diagonal of 14.6 inches with a resolution of 2960 × 1848 pixels, and the younger one has 12.6 inches with a resolution of 2800 × 1752 pixels. The body of the Ultra model has a thickness of 5.1 mm, becoming the thinnest in the history of the series. The devices have received dust and moisture protection according to the IP68 standard and are equipped with a Galaxy S Pen stylus without a Bluetooth Low Energy module.

The tablets are based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, which provides an increase in computing power by 19%, graphics by 17%, and AI accelerator by 61% compared to the Tab S11 Ultra. The S12 Ultra model is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 11,600 mAh, designed for 23 hours of work, and the S12+ version has a battery with a capacity of 10,600 mAh with autonomy of up to 21 hours. Both devices support wired charging with a power of 45 W.

The devices run under Android 17 with the proprietary interface One UI 9 and the Galaxy AI feature package. The tablets are offered in gray and silver colors in versions with storage from 256 GB to 1 TB. The manufacturer promised to release seven major operating system updates for them.
