During a working visit to Germany, a delegation from Uzbekistan studied how state-owned enterprises, state real estate, and agricultural land are managed there, the press service of the State Assets Management Agency reported on part of the program.

According to UzDaily, the director of the agency, Sohibjon Murodov, held separate talks with Dr. Andreas Kerst, who heads the division responsible for state holdings and equity participation at the German Federal Ministry of Transport. The German side outlined how the state manages its stakes in Deutsche Bahn AG, DB InfraGO AG, and other transport companies, as well as operational models for toll roads. The parties agreed to prepare a cooperation agreement and sign it in the near future; the document is expected to cover, among other things, the reform of state-owned transport enterprises and professional development for specialists.

According to the agency, the delegation visited the state-owned company BVVG, which manages, leases, and privatizes state-owned agricultural and forestry land. The Uzbek side studied parcel inventory methods, market and economic valuation, leasing procedures and open auctions, as well as the VESTA digital system.
