Uzbekistan ranked 71st among 100 countries in the global influence ranking for 2026, compiled by U.S. News & World Report and presented by the World Population Review project.

The leader of the list was China, the second position was taken by the USA, and the third by India. The top ten also included Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Italy. Russia ranked 11th, and Turkey ranked 21st.

Among the Central Asian countries, in addition to Uzbekistan, only Kazakhstan was included in the list, taking 34th place. Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan are not included in the published list.

The ranking assesses countries by their economic, political, and military potential, as well as their role on the international stage. The position of countries is determined by the Power Rank indicator within the U.S. News Best Countries report.
