The company Uzbekistan Airports and a delegation of the Krasnoyarsk International Airport discussed the development of air communication and the launch of new routes between the cities of Uzbekistan and Krasnoyarsk. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.

Negotiations with the delegation headed by the general director of the Krasnoyarsk airport, Kirill Yermakov, were a continuation of the dialogue started at the Russian-Uzbek forum in Fergana. The parties paid special attention to the directions from Krasnoyarsk to Samarkand and Fergana, as well as the possibilities of attracting airlines.

In addition to direct flights, the meeting participants considered the development of connecting flights. In particular, Fergana can serve as a transfer point for routes to Istanbul, and Samarkand - for flights to Dubai and Tel Aviv. The Krasnoyarsk airport is considered as a possible transit hub for passengers from Uzbekistan heading to cities in China and the Russian Far East.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to jointly work out promising routes and attract carriers. Joint marketing projects with the participation of airlines and tour businesses are also planned to promote destinations and stimulate passenger traffic.
