New railway overpass opened between Sabir Rakhimov and Urtaaul stations

A ceremony to open the facility was held on October 3. The structure was built to streamline traffic flows at the junction of Tashkent and Tashkent region, in place of the former crossing at the 3384th kilometer (PK-2). The event was attended by the hokim of Tashkent region Z. Mirzaev, the head of Uzbekiston Temir Yullari Z. Narzullaev and transport prosecutor I. Narimov.

During the project, a two-track railway bridge with a length of 23.6 meters was erected, and the tracks were returned to their design position. Also, a bypass railway branch and a road with a total length of 1200 meters were equipped, and 800 meters of contact network were completely relaid. For the foundation of the enclosing walls, builders installed 237 bored piles and used over 11 thousand cubic meters of concrete.

The total volume of earthworks reached 60 thousand cubic meters. At the facility, water drainage systems were installed, including two drainage pipes for rain and melt water, as well as automobile and pedestrian paths were laid.
