In Tashkent, the "Green Wave" was launched on Babur Street

In Tashkent, on the section of Babur Street from Furkat Street to Shota Rustaveli Street, nine traffic lights were synchronized into the "green wave" system. This was reported by the Tashkent Center for Road Traffic Organization.

The length of the reconfigured section is approximately two kilometers. The system is designed for an average speed of 45-55 km/h. In the morning, priority is given to the flow from Furkat Street to Shota Rustaveli Street (towards the airport), and in the evening, the traffic lights work in the opposite direction - towards Beshagach Square.

According to the Center for Road Traffic Organization, thanks to the coordinated switching of signals, the travel time on the section during peak hours has decreased from 9 to 7 minutes, which is a reduction of approximately 22%. With a free road, this route usually takes 6-7 minutes, so now during peak hours, transport covers it almost at the same speed as outside peak hours.

The agency noted that the synchronization of traffic light objects on the city's streets continues.
