OnePlus 15 and Oppo smartphones start receiving Android 17 ahead of schedule

So far, the firmware is being received by owners of the OnePlus 15 in India, with a build number of CPH2745_17.0.0.102(EX01). Beta testers need to download about 540 MB, while others need to download more than 3.5 GB. According to Kod.ru, citing 9to5Google, the update has also arrived in India on the OnePlus Pad 4 tablet. The same data shows that the stable version began to be sent out on October 22-23 in batches, so it is not yet available to everyone.

At Oppo, the update has been received by the Find X9, Find X9 Pro, Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s, and the foldable Find N6. The distribution is being carried out in stages: most models are being updated in India, Indonesia, and Malaysia, while the Find N6 is being updated in Thailand.

Meanwhile, OnePlus devices are transitioning from OxygenOS to ColorOS 17. Kod.ru, citing 9to5Google, recalls that in the summer, OnePlus reduced its global operations. At the same time, the company announced that the released smartphones would continue to receive the promised updates, but already based on ColorOS.

According to the same data, the next wave is scheduled for October 30: OnePlus 15R, OnePlus 13, and OnePlus 13s. In November, it will be the turn of the OnePlus Open, OnePlus 13R, OnePlus 12, and some Nord and Pad models. A total of 24 devices are promised to receive Android 17. The last ones, in the first quarter of 2027, should be updated, including the OnePlus Nord 4, N6 series, and OnePlus Pad Lite.
