Tashkent khokim signs decision to allocate 5 billion soums to Pakhtakor

The money will go toward covering the club's expenses in line with an approved budget. Gazeta.uz notes that the published text of the decision does not specify what these budget line items are or what amounts they entail. The allocation was based on requests submitted by the club itself on October 26 and by the State Unitary Enterprise "Center for Municipal Asset Management of the Tashkent Khokimiyat" on October 29.

This center was instructed to use the allocated amount to increase its share in the charter capital of Pakhtakor and ensure that the funds are spent as intended. Dilshod Khudoybergenov, first deputy khokim for financial, economic, and poverty reduction affairs, must submit a proposal to the supervisory board of Toshkent Invest JSC, which will handle the transfer of funds. A report on the execution of the decision will be submitted to the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies.

On October 19, in a statement regarding the refereeing of the match against Navbahor, the club admitted that it had lost its main sponsor, although it did not specify who it was referring to. In August, unconfirmed reports emerged that former Tashkent khokim and entrepreneur Jakhongir Artikhodjaev was ending his support for the team; head coach Kamoliddin Tadjiev did not confirm this at the time.

As Podrobno.uz recalls, Vaqt.uz reported in May, citing the iHamkor.uz portal, that by the end of 2025 the club posted a loss of 50.8 billion soums against expenditures of 128.9 billion soums. In 2026, teams will receive 560 billion soums from the state budget — 35 billion each.
