Mirziyoyev orders creation of migration centers in all regions in 2027

The order was given at a meeting on labor migration. Before the launch of the centers, the first deputy khokims of the regions will have to study the experience of the international educational center Intil. The President criticized the embassies, khokimiyats, and educational institutions for insufficient work on employing citizens in high-paying jobs abroad. According to the data provided, in 2026, 45,000 specialist applications were received from Germany, but only 2,000 people were able to get a job; the main obstacle was the lack of personnel with knowledge of German.

For 2027, the task is to train 10,000 people in in-demand professions and the German language and employ them in Germany. In the same year, it is planned to invite 500 German native speakers to schools and technical schools, and the state order for training teachers of this language in universities should double from the next academic year. "The approach to teaching German should be the same as to teaching English to young people," Mirziyoyev said.

Within a month, it is ordered to select 20 technical schools whose programs will be adjusted to meet the requirements of foreign employers from 2027. According to the President, large companies from Germany, Japan, and South Korea are interested in training personnel in Uzbek technical schools. In addition, it is planned to transfer two to three technical schools in each region to the management of large entrepreneurs for 15 years; they should annually produce at least 30,000 specialists. The entrepreneurs' expenses for training and equipment are expected to be counted towards paid taxes, and grants are also provided for each graduate who successfully finds a job abroad.
