Hero of Uzbekistan and farmer Parda Ziyatov passes away

Parda Ziyatov was born in 1947 in the Sharaf-Rashidov district of the Jizzakh region. After graduating from the Samarkand Agricultural Technical School as an agronomist and serving in the military, he began his career as a registrar at the Hamroqul Nosirov farm, where he later headed a brigade and was the main contractor.

From 2003 to 2018, Ziyatov headed the "Kuyoshsevar Parda" farm in the Sharaf-Rashidov district, developing cotton and grain production. For his many years of work in the agricultural sector, he was awarded the title of "Hero of Uzbekistan".

In addition to working on the land, Ziyatov was also engaged in public service: from 1990 to 1995, he was a deputy of the Oliy Majlis, from 2005 to 2015 - a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, and was also elected as a deputy of the regional and district Kengash of People's Deputies. Condolences on his death were expressed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the leadership of the parliamentary chambers, and the Prime Minister.
