Mirziyoyev awards medics on Medical Worker's Day

The decree was published on October 26. Medics were awarded honorary titles, orders, and medals. Among the grounds for the awards, the document mentions the development of healthcare and pharmacy according to international standards, improving the quality of medical services, introducing advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment, as well as digitization of the industry.

The title of "Honored Healthcare Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was awarded to four specialists: Director of the Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation Center Botir Damинов, Scientific Director of the Abdominal Surgery Department of the Oncology and Medical Radiology Center Mirzhallol Dzhuraev, Director of the Surgical Angioneurology Center Shavkat Karimov, and Director of the Eye Microsurgery Center Azamat Yusupov. Professor of the Department of Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology of the Tashkent State Medical University Adhamdzhon Vaisov became the "Honored Mentor of Youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

Orders were awarded to 46 people. The "Fidokorona khizmatlari uchun" order was awarded to neurologist of the Kokand City Medical Association Aziz Aliyev and laboratory assistant of the Pediatrics Center Nazira Alimukhamedova, "Mehnat shukhrati" to the founder of the non-state university Central Asian Medical University in Fergana Nurillo Mamasadikov. The order "Soglom avlod uchun" of the 1st degree was awarded to eight people, of the 2nd degree to seven, "Dostlik" to nine, "Salamatlik" of the 1st degree to three, of the 2nd degree to 16.

Medals were awarded to 33 people: "Jasorat" to three, "Sodiq khizmatlari uchun" to four, "Soglom turmush" to eight, "Kelajak bunyodkori" to one, "Shuhrat" to 17.
