In Uzbekistan, 82% of surveyed citizens are satisfied with the activity of the state healthcare system, according to the data of the international study STADA Health Report 2026.

The level of satisfaction with the healthcare system in Uzbekistan has increased by 13 percentage points over the year. The average level for the 20 countries covered by the study was 56%, with Uzbekistan ranking second only to Belgium (86%) in terms of this share. 22% of respondents were completely satisfied with the system's work (compared to 7% in 2025), while another 60% assessed it positively. At the same time, 52% of Uzbekistan's citizens believe that the national healthcare system is well-equipped with digital tools and services, whereas the average value for the study is 28%.

55% of Uzbekistan's residents use artificial intelligence in health-related topics, and 69% among young people under 35. However, citizens are not ready to fully replace doctors with technologies: 47% of respondents do not trust diagnoses from AI on a par with specialists. Most often, algorithms serve as an auxiliary tool: 21% of participants turn to AI for a second opinion after visiting a doctor, and 15% for a better understanding of the diagnosis. For 55%, personal guides on health issues are doctors, for 53% - spouses or partners, and for 49% - family members.

At the same time, the report recorded a decrease in involvement in prevention: 48% of the country's residents stated that they do not undergo planned medical examinations (compared to 39% in 2025, 25% in 2023, and 33% on average for 20 countries). If they had the opportunity to choose priorities for funding, 59% of the survey participants would direct resources to the development of medicine in rural areas and regions with limited access to services, 36% to the expansion of primary care, and 35% to reducing queues and expanding the staff of medical workers.
