The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan has put up for public discussion a project allowing non-state educational institutions to hire employees of internal affairs bodies at their own expense.

According to the initiative of the department, it is proposed to allow non-state universities to introduce the positions of senior inspectors for prevention and senior inspectors for women's issues. Private schools and secondary special education organizations will be able to employ inspectors-psychologists for minors.

The tasks of the inspectors will include the prevention of offenses, bullying, violence, drug addiction and the influence of extremist ideas, as well as working with students from risk groups together with teachers and parents. For schoolchildren, the project provides for special raids and events: "Davomat" - to identify systematic skipping of classes, "Tungi tekshiruv" - to search for minors in night entertainment venues without parents, "Usmir" - to seize prohibited items and suppress illegal driving, as well as "Uquvchi" - to identify children in public places during classes.

In higher educational institutions, events are planned: "Tig" to prevent the carrying of prohibited items and substances, and "Oriyat" to warn against the spread of alien ideas. In addition, employees will be able to inspect the living conditions of students in dormitories and rented apartments.
