In universities of Uzbekistan, from 2027, dual training will be launched at the request of business

The preparation of personnel will be built according to the scheme "enterprise - university - target specialist". The areas of bachelor's degree and admission quotas to universities will be determined annually before September 1 in agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, and the admission of students on a paid-contract basis at the request of enterprises will last until October 1.

Education will be organized according to a tripartite agreement: the employer undertakes to pay the student a salary of not less than 1 minimum wage rate (MROТ), and the graduate must work in the organization for at least two years. The study period will be counted in the general work experience. For students in priority areas (engineering, production and processing, architecture and construction, agriculture), a transfer to a grant from the second year is provided in case of high academic performance. Students from families in the Social Register will study on a budget basis and will be able to receive a social scholarship.

From January 1, 2027, the state will start compensating companies for 50% of the expenses for the salary of such students in priority areas. In addition, participating enterprises will be awarded points in the "Sustainability Rating", given the right to three-year accelerated depreciation of equipment, and a customs duty of 1% on the import of equipment for educational bases until January 1, 2030.
