Teachers' children granted 30% tuition discount at state universities

The measure will take effect from the 2026/2027 academic year. The benefit is intended for full-time undergraduate students at state higher educational institutions, both newly enrolled and continuing their studies. If several children from the same family are students, the discount is calculated separately for each of them without quantitative restrictions.

Applications are submitted electronically through the kontrakt.edu.uz service. The status of a pedagogical worker and the kinship relation are verified through the integration platform of the Digital Government system. The application is reviewed within two working days, after which the discount is applied automatically once per academic year. If the parent ceases pedagogical work, the benefit ceases to apply starting from the next academic year.

The rule does not extend to studies at non-state universities, foreign educational institutions and their branches in the republic, or higher military and paramilitary institutions. In addition, the discount does not apply to joint educational programs, faculties of foreign partner universities, or to supplementary and differentiated contracts.
