Assistants to hokims to receive up to 8160 soums for business census questionnaire

The amount depends on the status of the entity. For an accepted questionnaire from an officially registered entity, the registrar will receive 6,120 soums, and for a working entity without state registration, 8,160 soums. The rates are calculated based on the minimum wage of 1.36 million soums, effective from September 1, 2026, and amount to 0.45% and 0.6% of it. The mechanism is enshrined in Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 557 of October 9, 2026.

The money will be transferred only when all economic units in the area assigned to the employee are covered, and the questionnaires are filled out in full and accepted. The payment will be made by the National Committee on Statistics from the funds of the project with the participation of the World Bank. The Ministry of Justice provided an example: with full registration of 400 official and 100 non-official units, the payment will amount to 3,264,000 soums. No reward is provided for the self-employed: they pass the census online themselves.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, assistants to hokims retain their main position and monthly salary. If a registrar is replaced for unforeseen reasons, the right to payment will be received by the one who actually performed the work.

The census is being conducted from October 15 to November 30, 2026, and the data is taken into account as of October 1. It covers companies, individual entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals, foreign representative offices, and unregistered entities. The National Committee on Statistics will publish the results no later than September 1, 2027, according to Podrobno.uz.
