Transport and logistics centers in Uzbekistan will be exempt from land tax and property tax until 2040. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice's legal information channel, citing a presidential decree dated October 12.

To apply for the tax exemption, the complex must be part of the UN ESCAP Dry Ports Agreement, implement digital terminal and warehouse management systems, and have a rating of at least 'BB' in the Ministry of Transport's E-logistika system. Until August 1, 2029, centers included in the register will be able to import warehouse equipment, loading and unloading equipment, units, and spare parts not produced in the republic without duties and mandatory certification. Additionally, until December 31, 2027, manufacturers of buses and trucks (categories M2, M3, and N) will be exempt from import duties when importing foreign components, and from November 1, 2026, the fee for processing international courier shipments will be reduced by 20%. The decree approved target guidelines until 2030: to expand the network of dry ports meeting international requirements from 24 to 30, to increase the export of profile services to $3.5 billion, and transit traffic to 18.5 million tons. The districts of Khanabad, Alat, Termez, Yangiyul, and Ahangaran have been designated as logistics specialization centers.
