In Uzbekistan, five gas fields have been opened since the beginning of 2026

According to the data presented, it is planned to drill another 40 wells in the fourth quarter; among the 80 already drilled, there are wells with a depth of 6 thousand meters or more. The volume of three-dimensional seismic exploration in 2026 is planned to be increased fivefold compared to 2025. Jointly with foreign partners, projects are being implemented to study the deep-lying formations of Ustyurt, drilling and analyzing geophysical data.

In the gas transportation system, the construction of main gas pipelines and modernization of compressor stations are planned. The introduction of modern electric motors at individual facilities is designed to ensure savings of up to 125 million cubic meters of natural gas per year. Following the results of nine months, the total net profit of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and its subsidiaries increased compared to the same period last year, and the optimization of the loan portfolio helped reduce the total debt and expenses for loan servicing.

At the 25 Years of Independence field, a specialized company from China is dealing with the elimination of the consequences of the accident; currently, equipment is being delivered to the facility and sites are being prepared for drilling. The situation at the Fergana Oil Refinery was also reported: after the repair of installations, the production of diesel fuel increased by 30%, bitumen by 60%, aviation kerosene by five times, and the load on capacities by the end of the year is expected to increase from 40 to 65%.
