Uzbekistan's Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology holds talks with Turkish and Omani companies

The Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan held talks on cooperation and investment attraction with representatives of Turkish and Omani businesses.

The Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bobur Islamov, met with a delegation of the Turkish company Nakkaş Holding, headed by General Director Mehmet Ali İslamoğlu. According to the ministry's press service, the parties considered the possibilities of the holding's participation in the development of promising areas, creation of new capacities, expansion of the raw material base, and projects for the processing of man-made and tailing waste.

At the same time, a delegation of the ministry, headed by Deputy Minister Rustam Yusupov, held business meetings in Oman. With the Omani company Minerals Development Oman, issues of organizing geological exploration and development of precious mineral deposits were discussed, and with representatives of Tasnim Group, joint projects in the field of geological exploration and critical minerals were discussed.

As part of the trip to the Sultanate of Oman, the Uzbek delegation also met with representatives of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion, the State Administration of Special and Free Economic Zones, as well as the companies Nine Business Company LLC, Oman Trade Establishment, OQ, Al Zubair Corporation LLC and Asyad Group.
