Uzbekistan presents industrial potential at exhibition in Minsk

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov at the exhibition "Innoprom. Belarus-2026" in Minsk outlined the priorities of international cooperation and spoke about plans for the development of the country's electrical industry, according to UzA.

The international exhibition is being held from September 30 to October 2 at the BelExpo exhibition center. Individual stands have been set up by the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as six states: Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

According to Abdullah Aripov, the priority areas of partnership are industrial cooperation with the creation of full production chains, the electrical and electronic industries, the field of artificial intelligence and digital economy, as well as the food sector. The head of government noted the readiness of Uzbek enterprises to implement joint innovative projects with both Belarusian and other foreign partners.

The Prime Minister reported that over the past few years, the production of electrical products in Uzbekistan has grown more than nine times, and exports have exceeded $1 billion, covering 65 countries. By 2030, the republic plans to increase the volume of production in the electrical and electronic industries to $11 billion, increase supplies abroad to $5 billion, and attract more than $3 billion in investments to this sector.
