Seven Ministry and Agency Buildings Sold in Tashkent

According to the Agency for State Assets Management, seven administrative buildings of ministries and agencies have been sold in Tashkent for a total of 868.8 billion soums. The press service of the Agency for State Assets Management reported this.

The agency's data show that the buildings of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, the Agency for Public Services, the Committee for Road Construction, the Committee for the Development of Sericulture and Wool Industry, as well as the State Unitary Enterprise "Tourist Service Center" under the Committee for Tourism have been sold.

Another 11 facilities are put up for open auction with a starting price of around 1.1 trillion soums (1,095.8 billion soums), and pre-sale preparations are underway for 20 facilities. In particular, auctions for the buildings of the Agency for State Assets Management, the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the Agency for Technical Regulation, the Ministry of Water Resources and their subordinate structures are ongoing.

The sale of real estate is carried out in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated March 7, 2025, No. 146, which provides for the relocation of 150 state bodies and organizations with state participation to New Tashkent. The document plans to sell or lease 83 facilities in the capital through open auctions. The funds raised will be used to create administrative infrastructure in New Tashkent.
