In Uzbekistan, differentiated tariffs for light for large companies have been changed

According to the changes in the Rules for the use of electrical energy and natural gas, during the semi-peak daytime hours from 09:00 to 17:00, the tariff will be reduced by 1.5 times, and at night from 22:00 to 06:00, consumers will pay the usual established tariff without a discount. The increasing coefficient of 1.5 during peak hours of maximum load (from 06:00 to 09:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00) remains the same.

The I tariff group includes enterprises with a total capacity of 750 kVA and above. Since June 1, the base tariff for this category is 1100 soum per 1 kW·h, including VAT. Accordingly, the cost during peak hours reaches 1650 soum, and with a reducing coefficient during semi-peak hours, it will be around 733 soum per 1 kW·h.

In addition, the document introduces the status of "exemplary consumer" of energy resources for entrepreneurs when requirements are met for accounting through ASKUE and ASKUG, installation of meters with remote control, two-month timely payment, and absence of violations. Such enterprises will be able to pay a monthly advance for gas and light in the amount of 15% instead of 100%. Also, the collection for repeated connection to gas networks after disconnection for debts is canceled.
