Plant for equipment for small HPPs being built in Andijan district for $20 million

A plant for the production of equipment for small and micro hydroelectric power plants worth $20 million is being built in the Andijan district. This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

The project is being implemented entirely at the expense of foreign investments by Andijan Jinlun Yangi Energiya based on the presidential decree of March 28, 2025. The launch at full design capacity is scheduled for 2027. The project provides for the opening of 200 jobs.

After reaching the planned indicators, the enterprise intends to produce 100 complexes of small hydroelectric power plants worth 70 billion soums every year. In addition, the plant will produce equipment for microhydroenergy, machines and electrical products. Part of the products is planned to be exported to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, bringing the annual volume of foreign supplies to $3 million.

The enterprise also plans to build several micro hydroelectric power plants in the Andijan region. In particular, the stable water flow of the Big Fergana Canal is being considered for the location of the stations.

According to the publication Spot.uz from the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations, Andijan Jinlun Yangi Energiya was created in August 2024 with an authorized capital of 15.74 billion soums. Its sole founder is Singapore Jinlun International Investment Pte. Ltd., and the head is listed as Hun Uyan.
