Mirziyoyev visits Nasaf tractor assembly plant in Karshi

The plant is part of the Chinese corporation Jiangsu World Group, which is included in the list of the 500 largest private companies in China. The project, valued at 20 million dollars, was entirely financed by foreign investors. The site covers 5 hectares, with 12 thousand square meters allocated for production buildings. 200 jobs have been created at the enterprise, and part of the processes is automated.

The plant's product range includes five tractor models, as well as cotton harvesters and other machinery. The tractors are equipped with GPS navigation and an autopilot, while fertilizer application is carried out and controlled remotely. Tractor assembly is 30% localized: 138 types of parts and components are manufactured at the plant itself. During the visit, it was noted that the localization share needs to be increased gradually — through in-house production of components and cooperation with local enterprises.

The plant also conducts training in field machinery maintenance, early fault detection, and safe operation. Plans include exporting 30% of products to neighboring countries and increasing annual exports to 50 million dollars.

According to Mirziyoyev, agricultural machinery had previously been imported from abroad, which affected its cost. "The production of modern machinery in Kashkadarya under our own brand, easing the labor of our farmers, was once just a dream," the president said.
