54 buses purchased for three new routes from Tashkent to the region

According to the department, initial payments under the contract have already been made, and the delivery of Chinese-made buses is expected by the end of November 2026. The buses are planned to be distributed taking into account passenger traffic. Route No. 162 will connect the Kushkundi mahalla with the bus station of the Chorsu shopping center, No. 163 will go to the same place from the Tukimachilar mahalla, No. 167 - from the Tashkent collective farm.

The route of No. 163 passes through the Tukimachi and Nazarbek mahallas, Tarnov, as well as along Shifobakhsh suvlar and Beruni streets. The exact dates of opening of the routes and the schedule have not been announced yet.

The department told about the plans after complaints from residents of Nazarbek about the lack of buses and long waiting times at bus stops. Currently, the Zangiata district is connected with Tashkent by 15 bus routes. On route No. 134, 11 buses operate, which make 134 trips per day with an interval of about 13 minutes, on No. 135 - nine buses, 119 trips per day and an average interval of 14 minutes. In addition, there are also route taxis.

The department expects that the new lines will reduce waiting times and unload existing routes.
