Ministry of Transport announces tender for 24 bus routes in nine regions

The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan will hold an open tender on November 18, 2026, as a result of which 24 suburban and urban bus routes will be assigned to carriers under long-term contracts. This was reported by the press service of the department.

Applications are accepted only through the e-tender.uztrans.uz information system until 12:00 on November 17. The tender itself will start the next day at 12:00. The Ministry calls it the next one and conducts it in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers' decree No. 738 of December 6, 2021.

Most of the routes are offered in Tashkent, Khorezm and Andijan regions, four in each. In Tashkent region, these are three suburban directions in Akkurgan and Angren and one urban route No. 2. In Khorezm, three urban routes are being played out in Urgench and a suburban route from the Gurlen bus station. In Andijan region, all four routes are suburban: from Asaka, Chinabad and Dzhalakuduk.

Three routes each are allocated to the Republic of Karakalpakstan (including from the Chimbay and Kungrad bus stations) and Namangan region (Chust, Turakurgan, Pap). Two routes are offered in Syrdarya and Surkhandarya regions, one in Bukhara (from the Gijduvan bus station) and Samarkand (from the Jumy bus station). In the list, each route has a category from M1 to M3.
