Uzbekistan Airways to reduce prices on domestic flights from October 16

Uzbekistan Airways has reduced tariffs on air tickets on domestic routes by an average of 20% starting from October 16. This was announced by the press services of the airline and the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights.

The price review was carried out by the air carrier jointly with the Committee for Competition at the instruction of the President of Uzbekistan. The antimonopoly authority studied the pricing mechanisms and proposed to reduce tariffs due to the optimization of transport costs related to the implementation of air transportation.

According to Uzbekistan Airways, the minimum cost of one-way tickets will be: from Tashkent to Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, Andijan, and Namangan - from 201,062 soums (to Bukhara - from 241,274 soums), to Termez - from 361,911 soums, and to Nukus and Urgench - from 442,336 soums.

Air tickets at reduced tariffs can be purchased through the official website, mobile application of the airline, at the Uzbekistan Airways Sales branch, and from authorized agents.
