Leadership of Road Safety Inspection checks road safety in Urgench district

The leadership of the State Road Safety Inspection checked road safety in the Urgench district. The management of the Road Safety Inspection studied the state of public safety and road infrastructure in the Urgench district of the Khorezm region. This was reported by the press service of the Road Safety Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the visit, which was attended by representatives of the district hokimiyat, the regional Interior Ministry department and profile departments, a critical discussion of the work over the past nine months took place. The parties considered the measures taken and shortcomings in ensuring public order, combating crime and stabilizing the crime situation.

In the "Kumrovot" makhalla, responsible persons were given instructions on preventing crime, ensuring public safety and installing video surveillance cameras.

Regarding road infrastructure, issues of protecting pedestrians and cyclists, laying sidewalks and bike paths, installing traffic lights in accident-prone areas, as well as placing reflective poles and concrete barriers to separate oncoming traffic flows were studied. Responsible organizations were given instructions and recommendations to eliminate the identified problems.
