Uzbekistan and China update agreement on automobile communication

Uzbekistan and China have signed a protocol on amendments and additions to the intergovernmental agreement on international automobile communication. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

The document was signed during the working visit of the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilhom Makhkamov to China at a meeting with the Minister of Transport of the PRC Lyu Weyi.

During the negotiations, the parties paid attention to the expansion of international automobile transportation, creation of conditions for national carriers, increase in the volume of cargo transportation and improvement of the efficiency of transport and logistics connections.

In addition, the ministers considered the prospects for cooperation in civil aviation: an increase in the number of flights between the cities of the two countries, an expansion of the geography of flights, as well as additional opportunities for passenger and cargo air transportation.
