Insiders reveal possible prices and characteristics of Galaxy S27 lineup

According to insider Schrodinger, the cost of the basic Galaxy S27 model will be $900, Galaxy S27 Plus - $1100, Galaxy S27 Pro - $1300, and Galaxy S27 Ultra - $1400. If the information is confirmed, the basic versions will retain the price of their predecessors, while the Ultra version will increase in price by $100 compared to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The official presentation of the devices is expected in early 2027, presumably in February.

In addition, insider WalleGalaxy reported that the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra models may first receive the native DC Dimming technology. Unlike pulse-width modulation (PWM), which regulates the brightness of OLED screens by quickly turning pixels on and off, DC Dimming reduces the supplied current, which is designed to reduce screen flicker and reduce eye strain.
