The event is being held at the NEST congress center in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey, the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), and the SAHA Istanbul association, according to UzA and iXBT.com.

In the first two days of the forum, TUA signed a cooperation agreement with the space agencies of the Organization of Turkic States, developing joint work on the CubeSat project and creating a basis for future programs. Additionally, the Turkish side signed a declaration of intent with the British Space Agency to launch joint initiatives.

As part of the congress, astronauts from different countries also answered journalists' questions. The first Turkish astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, expressed hope for a flight of a fully Turkish crew and spoke out against the militarization of space. IAF Vice-President and Axiom Space Senior Vice-President Michael Lopez-Alegria and Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznanski-Wiszewski noted the expansion of the space sphere and its increasing accessibility for countries with small economies.
