The Russian company "Bureau 1440" presented a line of subscriber terminals for its own satellite network, including a serial model with a data transfer rate of up to 700 Mbit/s.

The presentation of the equipment took place at the "Digital Solutions" forum. The main novelty was the serial device "1440.ULTRA", designed for both stationary use at industrial facilities, construction sites and in remote areas, as well as for work on the move. The device, measuring 600×600 mm, is protected according to the IP67 standard, withstands temperatures from −40 to +40 °C, and its mass has been reduced by 30% compared to the pre-production sample and is less than 15 kg.

The developer also demonstrated the concept of a portable terminal "1440.MINI" with dimensions of 300×300 mm and a speed of around 100 Mbit/s, oriented towards rescue services and geological expeditions. The launch dates for this modification have not been announced yet. In addition, the company is developing a terminal "1440.ZEMLYA" for trains, designed for a speed of up to 400 km/h and undergoing tests on RZD trains, as well as designing equipment for integration into aircraft.

The company "Bureau 1440" (part of "IX Holding") is forming a low-orbit satellite constellation "Rassvet" to provide broadband internet access with global coverage. By 2030, the company plans to launch 292 spacecraft into orbit.

What it means

Users in remote regions and on transport, the serial terminal promises data transfer at speeds of up to 700 Mbit/s in a temperature range from −40 to +40 °C with IP67 body protection.
