Uzbekistan's Ramazan Temirov has suffered his first loss in the UFC: at the UFC 333 tournament in Abu Dhabi, Britain's Lonir Kavanna defeated him by technical knockout in the first round.

The fight in the flyweight category (up to 56.7 kg) took place on October 24 at the Etihad Arena. The outcome was decided at the end of the round: Kavanna stunned his opponent with a left uppercut, developed the attack with a series of punches, and the referee stopped the fight at 4:28.

The defeat broke Temirov's streak of 12 consecutive wins. Now, his professional record stands at 20 wins and three losses, and in the UFC - three wins and one loss. Before meeting Kavanna, the Uzbekistan native won in the organization against CJ Vergara, Charles Johnson, and Steve Erceg, and Erceg was knocked out by him in the first round in July 2026.

For Kavanna, this fight was a return to victories after a loss to Brandon Royval. Earlier, the Briton also won over former UFC champion Brandon Moreno.
