Kudermetova and Rakhimova advance to main draw of Ningbo tournament

Both athletes won two matches in the qualifying stage of the competition, held on the hard courts of the Chinese city of Ningbo.

Polina Kudermetova defeated Mananchaya Savangkaew from Thailand in the first qualifying round with a score of 6:3, 6:4, and in the decisive match for entering the main draw, she was stronger than Anastasia Zakharova - 6:3, 6:3.

Kamilla Rakhimova started the qualification with a victory over Ukrainian athlete Dayana Yastremska (6:2, 6:4). In the final of the qualifying stage, the tennis player defeated Tatyana Prozorova in three sets - 7:6 (4), 4:6, 6:4.
