Ismail Akhmedkhodzhayev wins in his class at car racing in Belgium

Racing driver from Uzbekistan Ismail Akhmedkhodzhayev took the first place in the UCS2 category at the fourth stage of the European series Ultimate Cup Series in Belgium.

The competitions were held on September 17-20 at the Spa-Francorchamps track. The pilot performed for the Rossa Racing team on the Rossa LM GT car in the Ultimate GT Sprint Cup category together with Russian Roman Rusinov. According to the team, the crew won two pole positions following the qualification on a dry track.

The stage program included two 35-minute races that took place in rainy conditions and variable track surface. In the first race, Rusinov became the winner in the UCS2 class and in the overall standings. In the second race, Akhmedkhodzhayev drove 13 laps in 36 minutes 56.391 seconds, taking the first place in his UCS2 class; in the absolute standings, he was overtaken by two cars of the older UCS1 category.

For the duo, this victory became the second in the current season of the series after winning at the Mugello autodrome in Italy in July 2026.
