Turan stadium opens in Nukus after reconstruction

The cost of the reconstruction project amounted to 118.6 billion soums. The seating capacity expanded from 9,300 to 12,000 spectators. The venue was equipped with platforms for media representatives, positions for offside cameras, and a dedicated zone for a centralized VAR system. It has also provided permanent employment for 85 people.

The arena serves as the home base for the Aral professional football club, and 190 students of the Republican Football Academy train here. The complex includes two sports halls, two auxiliary stadiums, a 196-bed residential building, an 84-seat dining hall, tactical analysis rooms, and gym facilities. Between 100 and 150 athletes can practice track and field, boxing, and taekwondo simultaneously on the grounds of the complex.

During his visit to the complex, the head of state was presented with a personalized yellow football jersey bearing the number 35. The president toured the newly created facilities and issued instructions on developing sports and football in the region.
