The first point of providing Russian state services in the format of the Multifunctional Center (MFC) outside of Russia is being prepared for opening in Tashkent.

The first point of providing Russian state services in the format of the Multifunctional Center (MFC) outside of Russia is being prepared for opening in Tashkent. This was announced on October 7 by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Grigorenko.

Grigorenko stated about the upcoming launch at the "Digital Solutions" forum. The "Russian House" will be the platform for the project. According to the Vice-Premier, it will be possible to obtain a Social Insurance Number (SNILS) and an electronic signature at the center.

The project is aimed at supporting Russian citizens abroad. The implementation of the experiment involves the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo, and other relevant structures.

Following Tashkent, a similar service center is planned to be launched in Kazakhstan in the coming months. The office of the Russian Vice-Premier also clarified that in the future, they intend to provide access to the services of such centers to foreign citizens as well.

What it means

The center in Tashkent will provide Russian documents and digital services, including SNILS and electronic signature, and in the future, the list of recipients is planned to be expanded to foreign citizens.
