Sharp cooling expected in Uzbekistan from October 3

From October 3, a cold and wet air mass will invade the territory of Uzbekistan, leading to a sharp change in the weather. This was reported by the Uzbek hydrometeorological center.

According to the forecast of the Uzbek hydrometeorological center, on October 3, cold masses will enter the northern regions of the republic, and on October 4-5, they will spread to the rest of the country. In the north and in the desert zone, rains will pass on October 3-4, and in the rest of the territory - on October 4-5. In some places, precipitation will be heavy, and in mountainous areas, rain is expected to turn into snow.

The air temperature throughout the republic will gradually decrease and will be from +15 to +20 degrees Celsius during the day, and from +5 to +10 degrees Celsius at night. In the northern regions, the air will cool down to +12…+17 degrees Celsius during the day, and to +2…+7 degrees Celsius at night.

From October 3 to 4, a strengthening of the wind is forecasted in some places up to 13-18 meters per second with possible gusts in individual areas up to 20-22 meters per second and a dust storm. In addition, on October 5-6, fog is likely in some regions of the republic.

From October 3, residents of the republic should consider a decrease in daytime temperature to +12…+20 degrees Celsius, rain with snow in the mountains, and gusts of wind up to 22 meters per second with a dust storm.
