Fixed capital investment grows 20.1% in first nine months of 2026

Foreign investments and loans accounted for 408 trillion soums, equivalent to 33.9 billion dollars. This represents 69.8% of all investments. Private and other non-state sources overall provided 518.6 trillion soums, or 88.8% of the total, increasing by 17.6% over the year. Centralised financing stood at 65.6 trillion soums. This is 43.3% higher than a year earlier, and its share rose from 9.4% to 11.2%. Of that, 25.4 trillion soums were utilised from the national budget, and 3.9 trillion soums from the Fund for Reconstruction and Development.

Among economic sectors, the manufacturing industry received the largest share of funding at 160.8 trillion soums, or 27.5% of the total. It was followed by residential construction with 87.1 trillion soums (14.9%) and agriculture, forestry and fisheries with 52.1 trillion soums.

By region, Tashkent was in the lead: 94.8 trillion soums were utilised in the capital. Tashkent region took second place (61 trillion), followed by Namangan region in third (60 trillion). Syrdarya region accounted for the smallest volume of investment at 19.4 trillion soums.

Over the nine-month period, 12.6 million sq. m of individual housing were delivered across the country, 13.1% more than in the same period of 2025. Of this, 8.45 million sq. m were built in rural areas. Tashkent region led the way with 1.5 million sq. m.
