The capital of entrepreneur Elon Musk has again exceeded $1 trillion on the back of the rise in shares of SpaceX and Tesla, according to estimates by Bloomberg Billionaire Index and Forbes.

According to the data from Bloomberg Billionaire Index, on October 6, the value of the businessman's assets was $1.04 trillion, having increased by 6.7% ($65.4 billion) over the day. Forbes magazine estimated the entrepreneur's fortune at $1 trillion on October 5. The founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, ranks second in the global ranking with a value of around $371.5 billion.

The main factor was the increase in the value of Musk's shares in key assets. On October 6, SpaceX shares rose by more than 7% to $171 (on October 5, they reached $167). Investor interest in the space company was strengthened after the orbital launch of the Starship ship on September 28, during which 26 Starlink satellites were delivered to orbit, as well as after a statement by Morgan Stanley analysts about the possible undervaluation of securities.

Tesla's quotes also showed positive dynamics, reaching $378 on October 6. The growth of the automaker's securities was facilitated by the published data on electric vehicle deliveries for the third quarter, which exceeded market expectations.

For the first time, Musk broke the $1 trillion mark on June 12 after the initial public offering of SpaceX shares. Later, he lost this status due to the decline in quotes in the technology sector.
